COMPARISON

Friday, May 29, 2009

“Compare yourself to succeed in life”, this might be a fastidious phrase but it won’t work in all time. Basically comparison is not a good quality, though it could bring competitive mind sometimes. Because the above mentioned competitive mind will work only when the person who compares himself with others would have a stable mind. Otherwise it will lead to possessiveness, hostility and more. While we compare ourselves with others, the essence of the competitive mind should be protected. “Don’t estimate yourself too low than what you have”. Always think that you are not more or less than others. You are having your unique salient features.

CLIMATE CHANGE

Climate change is one of the greatest environmental, social and economic threats facing the planet. The warming of the climate system is explicit, as is now evident from observations of increases in global average air and ocean temperatures, widespread melting of snow and ice, and rising sea level. Most of the warming that has occurred over the last 50 years is likely to have been caused by human activities. Human activities that contribute to climate change include in particular the burning of fossil fuels, agriculture and land-use changes like deforestation. These cause emissions of carbon dioxide, the main gas responsible for climate change, as well as of other 'greenhouse' gases. To bring climate change to a halt, global greenhouse gas emissions must be reduced significantly.

VIOLENCE

Wednesday, May 27, 2009

Violence is the expression of physical force against others. This may give pleasure to the violence maker, but the consequence is for all. “The myth of redemptive violence”, this phrase is coined for the famous psychological term mob mentality. Most of us are not always in the term of being violent. It’s all about the situation because we are all factor of time. When a person is alone, we can’t see any violent activity even in a verbal form. But when the same person is grouped with his friends or some other mob, the way he behaves will be entirely different. The crowd will give him a boost to act like a person of violence. This is not a hereditary feature whereas it is a mental feature.

Forex Trading: The Perfect Forex Trading System

Saturday, May 23, 2009

Trading the Forex market has become very popular in the last few years. But how difficult is it to achieve success in the Forex trading arena? Or let me rephrase this question, how many traders achieve consistent profitable results trading the Forex market? Unfortunately very few, only about 5% of traders achieve this goal. One of the main reasons of this is because Forex traders focus in the wrong information to make their trading decisions and totally forget about the most important factor: Price behavior.

Most Forex trading systems are made off technical indicators. But what are technical indicators? They are just a series of data points plotted in a chart; these points are derived from a mathematical formula applied to the price of any given currency pair. In other words, it is a chart of price plotted in a different way that helps us see other aspects of price.

There is an important implication on this definition of technical indicators. The fact that the readings obtained from them are based on price action. Take for instance a long MA crossover signal, the price has gone up enough to make the short period MA crossover the long period MA generating a long signal. Most traders see it as "the MA crossover made the price go up," but it happened the other way around, the MA crossover signal occurred because the price went up. Where I’m trying to get here is that at the end, price behavior dictates how an indicator will act, and this should be taken into consideration on any trading decision made.

Trading decisions based on technical indicators without taking price action into consideration will give us less accurate results. For example, again a long signal generated by a MA crossover as the market approaches an important resistance level. If the price suddenly starts to bounce back off that important level there is no point on taking this signal, price action is telling us the market doesn’t want to go up. Most of the time, under this circumstances, the market will continue to fall down, disregarding the MA crossover.

Don’t get me wrong here, technical indicators are a very important aspect of trading. They help us see certain conditions that are otherwise difficult to see by watching pure price action. But when it comes to pull the trigger, price action incorporation into our Forex trading system will definitely put the odds in our favor, it will generate higher probability trades.

So, how to create a perfect Forex trading system?

1. First of all, you need to make sure your trading system fits your trading personality; otherwise you will find it hard to follow it. Every trader has different needs and goals, thus there is no system that perfectly fits all traders. You need to make your own research on various trading styles and technical indicators until you find a concept that perfectly works for you. Make sure you know the nature of whatever technical indicator used.

2. Secondly, incorporate price action into your system. So you only take long signals if the price behavior tells you the market wants to go up, and short signals if the market gives you indication that it will go down.

3. Third, and most importantly, you need to have the discipline to follow your Forex trading system rigorously. Try it first on a demo account, then move on to a small account and finally when feeling comfortably and being consistent profitable apply your system in a regular account.

Maximize Your Site Traffic by Honestly Answering These 4 Questions

Wednesday, May 20, 2009

Sure, you might be getting tons of traffic, but what are your visitors doing once they land on your website? Lots of traffic doesn't necessarily mean lots of subscribers, lots of leads or lots of sales.

If you don't take a very objective look at each of the pages on your site, you might be flushing your valuable traffic-building efforts down the drain. If you designed and/or built your own site, it could be hard to look at it objectively. And even if you didn't build it yourself, it may still be difficult to take an unbiased view.

Many small business owners "fall in love" with their websites, they grow fond of seeing their logos prominently displayed, they get used to the color scheme and page layout and they can't even imagine that anything can be done to improve their beautiful site. If that sounds familiar, it's time to take off the rose-colored glasses. Here are 4 questions to ask yourself - and to answer honestly - about your website: 1. Does My Site Grab My Visitor's Attention? You might think your site looks gorgeous, and you might enjoy looking longingly at it for hours on end. But your visitors won't. In fact, studies show that if your visitor can't figure your site out in 3 seconds or less, he'll simply click away and go elsewhere. If you can't be objective, try this little trick... Open your website in your browser. Close your eyes as your site is loading. Now open your eyes, look at your site and count to 3. Now close your eyes. What did you see in those 3 seconds? What were the things that stood out the most? Was it apparent what path you should take on the page? Was the purpose of your site obvious in those 3 seconds? If not, you need to make some serious changes. 2. Do My Visitors Know What To Do Here? If your site has passed the 3 second test, does the visitor know what you're offering? Sometimes small business owners get so caught up in being cute and clever on their websites that they sacrifice clear and concise.

Your message, your offer, your benefits must be extremely obvious and understandable. Sure, the dancing monkey flash video might be adorable, but a simple benefits-laden headline will probably convert at a much higher rate. 3. Am I Getting Carried Away With Myself? Just because you offer blue widgets and red widgets and purple gadgets and green gadgets polka-dotted whatsits doesn't mean you have to present each and every one of them on your page.

Limiting the options on any one page can actually improve conversions. Use your traffic logs and study visitor paths to determine which options to offer at which stage of the site visit. 4. Do My Visitors Know What I'm Talking About? This one is a tough one for many small business owners who are writing their own web copy. It's important that you avoid any industry-insider terminology or trade-specific phrases that your site visitor might not know.

When you're an expert in your field, it can be difficult to put yourself in the shoes of someone who doesn't know as much as you do about your topic. But if you want to maximize your traffic, it's imperative that you be honest with yourself about the phrases you choose to use. As a small business owner, it's important that you honestly look at your website through the eyes of your site visitors. By taking an objective view of your site and making the necessary improvements, you'll be able to maximize your site traffic and increase your conversions.

CONSERVATION OF NATURE

Sunday, May 17, 2009

Nowadays, we are living a machine life. Our life ends within a small circle called birth, education, job, death. We are not looking beyond these common terms. We have to look after nature too. Then only we can mingle with nature as well as get rid of machine life. Nature is fully relied upon forests and trees. The easiest way of conserving nature is afforestation. As we know afforestation is planting and nourishing trees in a proper way as we do for our children. When afforestation is handled in a proportionate manner the nature will be conserved and preserved automatically. This is what we should expect.

NATURE

While we think about the lexis nature, the thing which strikes in our mind is the cool green sceneries. The only nature which we know is that the greenish environment. Everyone likes to taste a greenish environment around their home. Some of us are moving towards greenish places, even if it is far than our reach. But nobody works to make that pleasant environment around their habitat. The nature is having the hypnotizing power to drag us towards it. It always gives the composure to those who enjoy with it. In olden days our forefathers praised and prayed nature as the god that shows how great nature is.

What We Can Learn About Web Design From Designer Swimwear

Friday, May 15, 2009

trends, I don't spend hundreds of dollars on my clothes, and I certainly don't get complimented on my sartorial style. As a result, it came as somewhat of a surprise to me when I was contacted by Michelle, the owner of Jolidon Designer Swimwear, to work with her on her website on both the design and marketing aspects of it. Upon further reflection, however, I realized that there are a lot of similarities in the design and marketing of both swimwear and websites.
Simple Color Schemes with High Contrast Ratios
Most swimsuits use no more than four solid colors, which are selected to both complement and contrast with one another. The most common color scheme is black and white, which provides the maximum contrast ratio.
Implementing a high contrast ratio is not only a web design best practice, but it's also one of the criteria required to meet Level 2 (AA) and Level 3 (AAA) web accessibility standards. Juicy Studio has developed a terrific tool called the Luminosity Color Contrast Ratio Analyser, designed to help webmasters select sufficiently contrasting colors for their designs.
Simple, Clear Naming Conventions
In order to understand both Jolidon's competitors and the swimwear marketplace more clearly, I went into several department and swimwear stores and examined their product naming conventions. To my surprise, they were quite simplistic:
· Striped Monokini
· Black Bikini
· Red Tankini
When designing/developing product websites, we as webmasters should use similar naming conventions. They're perfect from an SEO point of view because they concisely describe the products and incorporate generic keywords and phrases without being spammy, and they're perfect from the user point of view because they concisely describe the products and incorporate keywords that users would commonly use to describe the products.
A Variety of Styles
Monokinis, bikinis, tankinis, one-piece swimsuits, summer dresses, bandeaus, deep plunge necklines, thong style, moderate coverage area...there are a myriad of different designer swimwear styles presently available, and as time passes by more styles will make their way into the mainstream. One may also choose from solid colors, stripes, floral patterns, geometric patterns, Swarovski crystals, and non-standard patterns such as spider webs.
When designing websites, we should also be willing and flexible enough to accommodate a variety of styles as well. We have liquid layouts, fixed-width layouts, one-column layouts, two-column layouts, three-column layouts, four-column layouts, header menus, footer menus, left side menus, right side menus, dynamic two-or-three-tiered menus, solid backgrounds, patterned backgrounds, and many more design concepts at our disposal, and we should be prepared to use any or all of them as needed.
Constant Evolution
Designer swimwear is an ever-changing industry. As soon as the swimwear season is over, designers are hard at work coming up with next season's trendy new swimsuits.
As web designers, we need to be aware of the constant evolution of both web design as a whole and of our competitors within our respective industries.
We Can Learn from the Designer Swimwear Industry
Studying the designer swimwear industry can teach us much about best practice when it pertains to web design, and we should make a conscious effort to implement as many of the lessons it teaches us as possible.

Google Adsense and Google Adwords - Is It Worth It?

Adsense and Adwords. Sound familiar don't they but what are the real reasons behind them and should you consider it as a viable internet marketing tool. Adsense is a Google way to help you make money online. You place code on your webpage that Google provides which results in random ads of no more than approximately 200 characters appearing throughout your webpage just like the ads on the right hand side of a Google search. The rule of thumb is that the ads you place on your webpage should relate to the content of the page, so for a webpage about finance you might have adverts through Adsense about credit cards or loans. In most cases, every click from an Adsense ad on your page might earn you something in your Adsense account. Adwords however is the other way round. You pay for an advert for other people to put on their sites through the Adsense procedure.
So, is it worth it? Many internet marketeers will say it is for various reasons. Regarding Adsense, it gives you an additional channel of income. You get paid per click rather than as a result and the payments can vary from a few cents upwards. If you have 10 websites that generate 100 visitors click on an ad that pays 10 cents per click you earn $100 per day in your Adsense account which is a good amount. Now, imagine duplicating that.
And Adwords? Why should I pay Google for an ad? Many internet marketeers will pay to earn money immediately. So if their site is new and not indexed or if you want to generate traffic or pre-qualified, targeted traffic they might have an Adwords budget and campaign, almost like buying traffic or warm leads.
It is important to note that Google Adsense will not make you rich over night. The amounts are small and the key to a lot of it is duplication. However, you can earn good money from Adsense if you target the right keywords and provide the relevant content to the visitor and ultimately attract the visitor. Some people have made a lot of money through Adsense but have lost a lot through Adwords. What you might earn through Adsense might get taken away through Adwords and the profit margins might be so small that many people might decide not to consider this easy and effective internet marketing method. The best way to work is to bid or buy cheap words in Adwords and display Adsense ads for the expensive words. Then, if you are able to generate the traffic, they should be clicking on the expensive words, thus creating you money

Wednesday, May 13, 2009

They recommend keeping the URL link of the ad in blue as it attracts the visitor and visitors recognise it as a link. As well, it is recommended to blend the ads with the content on the page so they seem natural and not too overbearing.
5. The placing of the ads on the page is also important. If you're income predications are through Adsense then it is recommended that you place the Adsense ads in the upper left hand area of your website as research shows that people naturally read webpages from the top left down. A vertical skyscraper ad has been seen to increase the click through rate to almost 30% (in the best cases). It is suggested to not place ads in the top right and bottom right corner of the site as visitors might not bother to read the whole page and quickly navigate on.
6. Finally, the shape or style of the ad. Google actually recommends that you use vertical ads as visitors psychologically prefer them. Wider styles also attract attention as they are deemed easier to read.

How To Earn Money With Google Adsense

So you've set up your Adsense account, and you've added the Adsense codes to your webpages and published them to the web. Now what? Where's the money that they should be making? I have a variety of websites, some with Adsense code on, some without. Before I starting internet marketing I thought that I could make a fortune with Adsense but I now understand that it is an additional revenue or income channel. To help achieve an Adsense income takes patience, practice and experimentation. Some of the following might sound true and be some great advice regarding the use of Adsense on your websites:
Start by looking for quick ways to generate traffic to your webpages. Remember to keep the traffic targeted and to provide relevant content for your visitors and also for your AdSense ads.
Remember to make sure that all your webpages are well optimized and relates to your content, subject or topic.
Just because you are generating a good level of traffic to your webpages, might not always result in getting any click throughs on your ads. This can be for many reasons including a lack of Ad relevancy to the content on the page. You need to think like the visitor and check the relevancy.
The design of you webpage is critical and the positioning positioned of the ads well matter. You need to place them strategically and well, in the visitors eye.
By checking the web addresses located on the ads, you have a better control of which sites you might want to block from your AdSense account. You can eliminate the ad from appearing again but you'll have to accept the you might get a similar worded or style of ad in the same place.
Regarding SEO techniques, you will need to choose the right keywords for the webpage and target them correctly. Just by ensuring that you use words from a list of top paying keywords to can give you a better revenue per click. Content on the pages is important to ensure that visitor's keep returning. Also ensure that the pages within your websites are linked well to assist with navigation and bots.
Most webmasters use Adsense as a bonus rather than the primary source of internet marketing. Successful ones will duplicate sites targeting different keywords whilst using Google Adwords to generate traffic. If you're eager to make Adsense work, then it can be a significant bonus to include on your webpages.

THE IMPORTANCE OF RELIABLE DATA RECOVERY IN THE EVENT OF SYSTEM FAILURE

Tuesday, May 12, 2009

There are a host of reasons why a computer user may experience data loss - crashes, corrupted hard drives, server failures and simple human error.
If the original data loss was down to a problem with the computer's operating system, then it is usually fairly easy for a data recovery professional to access the system and extract the information in question, usually by copying it to another disk. However, a failed or corrupted hard drive is a trickier problem and data recovery in this case often has to involve making repairs to the file directory or using specialised software to retrieve the data. Occasionally, the disk itself will need to be replaced.
Given the risks inherent for individuals and businesses in tampering with hard drives and servers, the vast majority of people opt for a professional data recovery service for all but the most simple data recovery tasks.
A professional service will first mount a close inspection of a damaged hard drive for physical damage, using a microscope. The electrical components of a drive - such as its power unite, motor, servo circuits and interfaces - will also be scrutinised, along with its electronic functionality. If any of these components are faulty, they will be repaired or replaced, before the hard disk itself is reprogrammed, recalibrated and upgraded.
The magnetic media will be subject to a similar inspection, with technicians looking at the functionality of the read/write heads and making sure that all are correctly aligned. Again, any faulty components will be replaced, before the hard disk drive heads are re-aligned and contamination removed. The drive will then be cleaned under laboratory conditions and re-assembled.
Once the disk is fully repaired, it will be possible to access the lost data. Any information stored on the magnetic platters will be extracted or read via the hard disk drive interface using proprietary programs.
The data stream itself will be checked for parity errors and any bad sectors will have their CRC codes repaired, before the data and file lists are stored securely on the company's servers.
Technicians then examine the file listings and data manually, calling on the client to provide assistance when needed to validate the data for errors. Once validated the data is transferred onto DVDs or a replacement hard disk drive.

HOW TO RESOLVE "FAT FILE SYSTEM" ERROR MESSAGE

Monday, May 11, 2009

FAT (File Allocation Table) file system provides a mapping between the logical storage and physical location of the hard drive data. It contains an entry for all files stored on the hard drive that restrains the address of the file's initial cluster. Corruption of FAT file system primarily occurs due to operating system corruption, improper system shutdown, malicious software like virus and more. After the FAT file system corruption, the data stored in the hard drive becomes inaccessible. In such situations, if no backup is available, you need to recover the lost data by using efficient Data Recovery Software.
For example, if you have two different drives in your system - FDD (Floppy Disk Drive) and MO (Magneto-Optical) drive - that have non-unique volume serial numbers and similar files, you might encounter the below STOP error message:
"STOP 0x00000023 (Parameter1, Parameter2, Parameter3, Parameter4) FAT_FILE_SYSTEM" The four parameters in the error message differ with computer's configuration.
Cause:
This above error message mainly occurs because the FAT file system driver is unable to recognize the two drives and hence the media in your system. As there are various differences between the types of these media, you encounter the above error message. Another major cause for the error message can be physical disk problem or IRP (Input/output Request Packets) corruption.
Resolution:
To resolve the above STOP error and access the data, you should take these actions:
• Make sure that there are no file system integrity issues by running chkdsk(Checkdisk utility) command with different switches as /r and /f. • Stop all file system filter drivers like backup utilities, virus scanners or firewall software. • Update all disk, tape backup, CD-ROM or removable device drivers to their latest versions. • Verify the file properties of the Fastfat.sys file to ensure that it matches the present version of the operating system. • Apply the Hotfix solution provided by Microsoft. However, if all the above steps fail to resolve your problem, then the best possible solution is to reinstall the operating system. A clean reinstall of the operating system will delete all data from the selected hard drive partition. In such situations, to completely recover the data, you should use effective DATA RECOVERY SOFTWARE.

Such Data Recovery Tools perform complete recovery and restoration of lost data from a formatted hard drive. These user-friendly Data Recovery applications can be easily implemented due to their largely graphical interface and to-the-point documentation.

Windows Data Recovery is the finest DATA RECOVERY solution with most advanced features like RAW Recovery, Drive Imaging and more. It natively supports more than 300 diverse file types. It is compatible with FAT16, FAT32, vFAT, NTFS and NTFS5 file systems. It supports Windows Vista, XP, 2003 and 2000.

UPS-UNINTERRUPTED POWER SUPPLY

Sunday, May 10, 2009

A UPS is a device connected between then mains electricity supply and your Computer Server or PC. It has two main functions:

It filters the mains supply to remove spikes which can cause failures; these spikes can be a thousand volts or more and last for a brief time; it is during this spike time that real damage can be caused to electronic components.
It takes over the supply of mains in the event that the mains electricity fails or worse goes into a state known as a brown out; this is where the supply falls to an unacceptably low level; it is during this time that disks can crash and data in memory is lost or corrupted.

Recently we suffered a momentary power failure at the building where my office is located. I heard a groan of complaint from other people in the building as their computers stopped working and any work was lost.

All my office equipment is connected to a UPS so all we could hear was the bleep, bleep of the warning signal telling us that the UPS was working correctly. We know that once this signal starts we have 10 minutes of usable time before then system batteries are exhausted. This allows time to complete the piece of work being carried out and shut the system sown in an orderly manner
